I use VS2017. The option Other Project there is no. I had to download an extension, install, in order to have this option, because I am doing a windows service and I will need to install this service. When I try to mount the installer, it looks for that path: c: 232379996f253b2e143a9449 1046_PTB_LP redist Visualstudioshell Vsintsetup** and in that path the file **vs_setup.msi. I found a find on my disk C: and I couldn’t find the file. What should I do? The error is 1706, that cannot locate an installation package and refers to the VS2010
it would not be easier to uninstall everything and reinstall?

@Italorodrigo, I did it twice. I don’t know what’s going on.

Are you sure you reinstalled everything? Visual Studio is considered a Windows tool and leaves a lot of "trace" behind.
