I would like to know in which file ( or directory ) is the file of the specific element of an inspected web page.

Important: it would be a wordpress php file, not css.

In the 'Source' tab of Inspect you can see some information about the file directory on common websites.

PS: I only answered here because I could not comment on your question.

  • Cool. But it shows an index inside wordpress that in "sources" appears the code. However the server is empty.

  • Of course, because the file. php runs on the server side, for you (in the browser, ie in the client) it shows only the returns, and not necessarily the PHP code, so it would be almost impossible...

  • Yes. But even downloading the file and opening it also shows nothing. Just the message below: <? php // Silence is golden.

  • Dude, could you put the link to what you’re trying to download, just so I can take a look?

  • Please, is the following.. I need to know in which file ( or directory ) is the slider code of the home of this site.. https://f***.com.br/

  • the probability of vc to discover this is 5%... Probably in some plugins folder of the wordpress own, but it is difficult to say only with this...

  • Poise already searched but also not found. But beauty.. Thanks for trying to help!

If you click on the image and click to open in a new tab, most of the time it works too. It appears the directory.

  • But just the image directory. I preview the file where I can link the slider
