Good people, I want to insert myself in the world of programming whose end users are Windows users. I already work with Java and have a notion of programming, only what I wanted to know is an IDE that I can use to program C#/C++. I seek your opinion on this. I look for a IDE very much because of the ease that I had in Java, since using Eclipse, which is the IDE that I use, it’s extremely easy to create a .J file. I look for an IDE that has the same ease of creating a file. EXE for example, in addition to the code helpers you have on most Ides, as well as Eclipse. I thank you all from now!

Like "opinion-based"? There are only 3 Ides to use with C#/C++. And he asked which one he can use, not "which is best" or something like that.

  • I just downloaded. I saw in the installation something about Windows, it added 9GBs download in the installation, I chose not to download. It has problem?

  • No, the visual studio you are installing has the options to download or not the packages that come with it, it is up to you
