Visual Studio 2010 and Connection with Banco Access

My Visual Studio 2010 (10.0.40219.1 Sp1rel), is popping the following error message when I try to create a connection to an Access database (Office 2010):

The 'Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12. 0' Provider is not Registered on the local machine.

I have already updated the data access components (MDAC 2.8 SP1) and manually registered the MSJET40.dll files from both the Syswow64 folder and the System32 folder and even after several attempts the problem persists.

Any suggestions?

The second link redirects to an English article suggesting the download and installation of the "2007 Office System Driver: Data Connectivity Components" component which is for Office 2007, but for some mysterious reason it worked perfectly on my machine, which has Office 2010 64-bit. You’ll understand... = P Anyway, thank you very much!
