I am currently using Linux Mint 18.2 KDE and I need to install the Cordova development environment as I am taking a course of it. However it has been more than two weeks that I am facing a very annoying problem with downloading Cordova via npm see image below.
I have been informed that this problem may have to do with the version of Nodejs and consequently with the version of npm. But I’m also new to the linux world and the only versions I could install were the ones that follow in the image.
I already installed Nodejs following this tutorial and also installed with the simple sudo apt-get install nodejs
and the versions remain the same.
It is noteworthy that also failed to install other packages with npm, errors are always similar.
