Is it allowed to use free sprites from the Unity Asset store in monetized games? I saw that the Unity Asset Store has many sprites that are free. I was thinking of starting to develop some simple games for Android and publish them on the Playstore. Is this allowed? I can use them, for example, to create free games that have advertising or even in games where it is possible to shop for items without any restriction?

Good afternoon Vinicius, there are many free Assets for monetization. Those marked CC0 (public Domain) mean that you use the Assets for commercial purposes. I work with games here in brazil and often make available Assets for CC0 (public Domain) purposes for free. If you are interested you can send me your email and I will contact you :) Hope I helped, hugs.

Any Asset that is registered in a Kommons Reactor that does not contain -NC (non Commercial) you can monetize. Even CC-BY-ND

  • It’s true Jefferson! Thank you for completing the answer :) But the most common on this platform of Unity Asset (when it’s free) is CC0.
