Help with installing Ionic Cordova via Terminal - Mac!

Question

I’m trying to install Ionic to develop a mobile app and am following a step-by-step site:Tableless, but in the part where it is requested to perform the command npm install -g ionic cordova, packages start to be installed, however when the installation is finished it returns it to me via the terminal itself:
