Come on, guys, I have a Godaddy account with unlimited storage. I wanted to use this storage to backup (I did this via FTP with Cobian backup) but also wanted to manage the files via browser. Do you know any application that does this?

Already I want to thank the attention!

  • What is the server environment? Linux? Windows? Voce has shell access? has root access?

  • godaddy server environment is linux with Cpanel. Yes, I have shell access. About root, I do not know inform.

  • For backup, on linux, I would use rsync, but Cobian is a good choice. My answer below does not suit you?

Hello.
I believe it’s something like net2ftp you’re looking for.

  • I’m testing, then pass the feedback. Thank you very much

  • I want to thank the help, I found what I was looking for, this was possible with the ideas passed here. Link: https://github.com/kalcaddle/KodExplorer

If you have ssh access there are several ways to do this, but since you say you have ftp access, Voce can access from most modern browsers, just put the ftp address in the browser address bar, for example:

ftp://meuftp.com.br/

You can also use Fireftp to, ay yes, manage an ftp via Firefox, or the sftp, through the Chrome.

You also have the option to use an FTP desktop program, there are several, I will indicate the Filizilla pq is easy to use and is cross-platform.

Edited | Device Sharing:
A good alternative (FREE) for backup is the Crashplan, Voce installs on your device and they all start to share the files that Voce determine, of course for that Voce needs to be able to install on a provider, if you want the files to be stored on your disks.

CLICK TO DOWNLOAD THE CRASHPLAN.

  • Actually, my idea is to use something like this: http://bedrive.vebto.com/dashboard/folders/ This script is sold in codecanyon

  • But for that Voce would need to install the script in godady, it would probably need to be root.

  • There is another free possibility for what you want, I will put in the answer. But for that you need to be able to install the software on each device.

  • Hi Sidon, waiting for your tip.

  • Already edited, it’s the Crashplan
