Problems in the installation of Grails

I set the variables GRAILS_HOME and JAVA_HOME that I used to use for the Griffon, but when trying to access the Grails I get the following error:

ERRO

windows grails groovy

  • What is your version of Java? It may be that versions 2.4.x need Java 8, while 2.3.x need Java 7.

  • The findstr is a dos command, is a problem in your path

It does not seem to be a problem of the grails. Try to add C:\WINDOWS\system32 in your Environment variable Path

  • I installed version 2.4.0 and had this error but it was all right with 2.3.9
