I need to perform a customization in an infotype (HR) adding two new fields for control as represented, circled yellow, in the image below:

I don’t know anything about SAP, but they have a tutorial for your problem: Enhancement of Standard Infotype (It’s English, but if you need help, let me know!).

Does this involve something directly related to software development? Uses ABAP or some programming language or is just an SAP-HR configuration?

  • @Zuul I think you were very close, I’ll try to follow the steps

  • @bigown I believe is an improvement in the module I imagine that can not solve via code, I’m not very sure, I will try to decipher the manual that Zuul sent

It seems that it is not a question of software development and it is outside of our scope because it is only the use of software. If that’s wrong, we can reopen it later, but now I think it should be closed. You can continue to ask other software development questions. Your other question, for example, is very good. See the discussion on what is part of the topic: http://meta.answall.com/questions/264/quais-assuntos-devem-fazer-do-nosso-foco-on-topic

@bigown agree and disagree, when it comes to SAP will always be 'software use' I believe customization fits so I asked the question here, but when to coding I have to agree. Thanks for the comments

It is very controversial. If you are in the link I passed, put there an answer to be in our focus questions of this type (ERP customization or other software that does not involve code). Let the staff vote. Who knows the staff accepted. And then it is valid. We even strive to accept various types of questions but there needs to be a limit. If the people vote they want it, for me, ok.

  • I’ll do it, thanks for the support and sorry for anything ;)

  • In the PM01 transaction, follow the steps here. Your infotype seems to be the 0598.

  • @Jordan Do you think that answers the question? Put as answer.

  • Couldn’t you find a solution? If you found it put here as an answer, you can gain a reputation for it.
