I’m studying a little Python around here, and I always come across the command with.

I searched the documentation and other sites, read articles in English and I also gave an answer about this command here, on pt.stackoverflow, but I still can’t understand the functionality of the command.

What specifically did you not understand? You have to be clearer at this point to avoid being closed as duplicate.

  • @diegofm - I tried to be clear, to the point of almost saying that I did not understand the function of the command :/

easier would be to take the doubt in the original post, via comments, or in the network chat. Or when you have more points, offer a bonus in the original in an attempt to attract new response. Not knowing which part you understand makes it hard to help. The most I can imagine is if I left both open, we’d have answers with the same information in both places. @jsbueno even posted one here and removed it, maybe it was the case that it was replaced there. Although it is still the same thing, but with other words (which can be interesting as a complement)

  • @Bacco - Look at the date of the original question: asked: 2 years, 2 months ago , if I comment there, it will be about 1% to be answered back.

I don’t see where this statistic changes the situation. And in the case of the bonus, it brings the question to the highlights of the site

Just like @Bacco said, you can comment to the author of the answer if it was something you didn’t understand, if you think you could have more details you can offer a bonus https://answall.com/help/bounty, if it is something very specific then ae yes you could ask a new question, but in the case of the current question is not something specific but rather difficult to understand what has already been explained. ;)

  • @Felix, given the date of that reply, I’m trying to formulate a new. See if it’s any use to you.

  • @Felix, if you leave a comment in the reply explaining what you did not understand, the author will be notified and will have the opportunity to reply. If he ends up editing it to clarify the points you had difficulty, it goes back to the front of the site and more people have the opportunity to see it, as well as your comment. Also, in a situation like yours, you could also take snippets of the answer you didn’t understand, put them here and explain why they don’t make sense to you.

(I wrote the answer I had started there. Perhaps this mechanism of creating a duplicate question to move the original is not so bad as to be curtailed. That question is out, the original question has two more answers, and you’re all happy)

  • @Andersoncarloswoss - Thank you very much for the explanation, with your explanation and the jsbueno I understood what I was struggling to find.

  • @jsbueno - Thank you for taking the time to formulate a response, as discussed above, with your reply and Anderson I was able to understand the functionality of the command.

  • Thanks guys, it will help not only me but other enthusiasts as well. The original post was with a very vague response.

And I also won the medal of "necromancer" for having made points with an answer to a question of more than 60 days. :-)
