Are there paradoxes in computing?

There are some paradoxes in Electronics and other areas of knowledge and this question has appeared in this field.

    I thought the question was cool, but I don’t see a way to not fit it as "too wide".

As the jbueno commented, perhaps the question is too broad. But I like this theme and I usually read a lot about paradoxes (not only related to computing, but to everything).

So, I don’t know if this is the kind you wanted, but I know Paradox of Moravec.

Generally, people have difficulties solving mathematical and logical problems of high levels of complication, such as gigantic equations and perfect chess strategies. On the other hand, human beings can do other tasks like walking, smelling things and talking with almost no effort, and for computers, this is extremely difficult, if not impossible.

  • Interestingly, I expected some mathematical logic, but had forgotten the area of performance and computational cost.
