This is the project: http://googlecreativelab.github.io/coder-projects/projects/blinky_lights/

I followed all these steps:

Heroku login

ssh-keygen -t rsa

heroku keys:add

Procfile
(web: tilestream --host neuberfranlights.herokuapp.com --host '*' --uiPort=$PORT --tilePort=$PORT --tiles=./tiles)

heroku create

heroku labs:enable websockets

git remote add heroku [email protected]:seu-app-name.git

git push heroku master

As a basis for creating the

"var port = Number(process.env.PORT || 5001); app.Listen(port, Function() { console.log("Listening on " + port); })"

I used these two topics:

http://pi.gadgetoid.com/article/running-google-coder-on-your-existing-raspberry-pi-or-desktop-pc

http://jsantisi.com/tag/tilestream/

Gypsy,

this is Procfile

(web: tilestream --host neuberfranlights.herokuapp.com --host '*' --uiPort=$PORT --tilePort=$PORT --tiles=./tiles)

According to this website: http://jsantisi.com/tag/tilestream/

where to take such Procfile. I imagined that tilestream would not influence anything at the end of the deploy

this guy is the "mentor" of the project:

http://forum.fazedores.com/t/campus-party-2014-luis-leao/131

I would really appreciate it if you would help me to accomplish it.

  • Hello! I am not very familiar with these technologies, but it doesn’t seem very clear to me what exactly is the problem you are facing. It may be interesting to supplement your question with additional information to help users answer it.

  • You followed the installation instructions of Tilestream according to the site placed in the question?

  • My project is another. In place of tilestream I owe by what ?

  • I don’t know. I don’t know your project, nor this technology. I only know the Heroku deploy itself.

  • Check if any of the following links can help you: - http://www.spatialanalysis.ca/2014/deploying-tilestream-to-the-heroku-cloud/ - https://devcenter.heroku.com/articles/node-websockets

deploy occurred without errors. I tried to sign in to your website and had the following screen:

inserir a descrição da imagem aqui

To view error logs, use:

heroku logs

There’s more additional options here.

EDIT

Again, the error is clear. On the line

Starting process with command `tilestream --host neuberfranlights.herokuapp.com --host '*' --uiPort=51353 --tilePort=51353 --tiles=./tiles`

Heroku tries to call a command called tilestream and raises the following error:

bash: tilestream: command not found

I don’t know what this is tilestream, but it’s something your application needs. I can keep helping if I have more information about this project.
