The problems you’re having, can be referenced with how you’re inserting CSS into your email marketing.
- In some email clients, they do not open CSS within the
<head>
, thus the best option is to insert them into the <body>
using the tag <style></style>
- In other clients or by inserting
class
or id
will advance, the best is to insert through the attribute style=""
But, after all, what goes for one client is not guaranteed to work on the other, IE, Gmail may work but Outlook does not. That’s why I recommend taking a look at these email marketing guides, you’ll get a better sense of what you can and can’t do in emails.
