When I copy the URL of my site on Whatsapp, it does not generate the image/ news thumbnail.
On other sites appears, wanted to understand which code should I use to solve the problem.

Whatsapp uses the same tags (og:tags, Open Graph) from Facebook to render the content, with some extra restrictions that seem not to be very well documented (it seems that the image can only be at most 300kb, for example).
See if everything appears normally with the Facebook tool and then make adjustments testing on Whatsapp: Sharing debugger
