URL being incorrectly generated

I’m having a problem where my website images are being pulled with special characters and makes some images inaccessible.

For example: Right url: eusou.fit/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/deltoides-quadriséries.jpg

Url generated by: eusou.fit/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/deltoides-quadris Ries.jpg

Your site does not have the meta tag indicating the charset. Try to include this:

<meta charset="utf-8">

within the tag <head> and see if it solves.

  • Bingo! That’s exactly the problem. I added manually as you spoke through and it worked perfectly. Thanks for the touch Ricardo, saved the country.

  • Before I think that this configuration was done by some plugin or in . htaccess (I made modifications to both items today, so I don’t know what it was).
