Filter Data to Database

Good afternoon,

I have a problem that I hope someone can help me with. I needed to pass about 700 entries to a database (in this case Sqlite Studio) but I can’t find a way to filter those 700 entries without manually. Here is an example: Araújo, A.; Fernandes, L. e Oliveira, T. (2000). Language C. Edições Atlas. Lisboa. ISBN 990-888-567-231-5. I need to get this type of entry divided by columns in a table by the correct categories such as authors, years, etc. Is there any way to enter these 700 entries without being manually entered? I was told about programs that read html and could filter the data, but I haven’t been able to find anything yet. If anyone with more knowledge on this could help me.

You need to find a character that defines the break of the part. It seems that the point followed by space has this function. The problem is that if you have any text with the same pattern you will break in part where it is one thing. Anyway, the question is formulated in a way that will be difficult to help more than this comment.

  • Post some examples and how you would like it to stay. This link is possible to download from the internet?

  • I would try to import in excel (Text tab -> data). Set the point followed by space as delimiter. See if it separates the columns correctly. If successful, then export excel to the database.
