Software architecture: studies the global organization of systems, relationships and components. It allows the understanding of the components of a system.

Software Engineering: are the concepts, methods and processes related to development. This part includes specification, development, design, verification, validation and management.

We can say that the engineer designs and who develops the base is the architect, defining technologies and structures that will be used.
