I got an internship for the developer and once I received the news that Via passed the tests, I was also warned that the project in which I would be allocated will be a new mobile system from a client of the company I will intern. So I was warned that I should study and not get too raw.

So I downloaded this free version of Delphi and I’m trying to set it up for mobile development, but I can’t. It does not have the options of Android or iOS as I see in youtube videos.

Can someone help me?

  • In the installation, you selected the option to install the components for Android development?

  • But this option does not appear to me at the time of installation.

First of all, check if you have the java installed and which version of it you have on your computer, the good thing is to update. Second, the moment you install Delphi, you put him to install the Android SDK, this is the class package that will be used for development for android

  • The option to install Android SKD does not appear to me at the time of installation. I downloaded the Delphi Berlin Starter version.

  • @Alissonboucinhas So this is the problem, in the version Starter as it is very limited, there is no way to develop for mobile, only from the professional.

  • Ah, got it! So I should not download Delphi Seattle or Berlin in the professional version?

  • You can download anyone, as long as they are professional or Nterprise
