The site has been presenting the error for some time:
Your PHP installation appears to be Missing the Mysql Extension which is required by Wordpress.
I checked with the hosting server and we noticed that the version of PHP
is incompatible with the version of wordpress
installed, While trying to update the PHP
writing a line on .htaccess
the same is always rewritten (deleting the typed line), the server in question is the locaweb
.
I also tried to "restore" the file nav-menu
to see if it would solve this rewriting problem of .htaccess
but without success, I also noticed that when searching the site on google
the same shows the title of the site in Japanese/Chinese/Koreano so I suspect that it was a hacker attack because the wordpress
the site was long overdue without being updated.
What other methods can I try to restore the site? (request rollback to the server this out of question, the service provider reported that it only keeps the 7 days backup)
This error concerns Mysql and not the PHP version, you have to search on
php.ini
of the Mysql extension is enabled, apparently not.– Kenny Rafael
@Kennyrafael already contacted Locaweb and they informed that this error is generated due to php version and this impacts on mysql driver configuration.
