The title ended up being straightforward and self-explanatory... Can I use joomla without using jQuery or any other "heavy" library? I am aiming to take any framework of development, which unfortunately (and obligatory) should be in joomla, and use only pure javascript in small applications. Locally, I already see a very big delay in content rendering due to the load of almost 100kb extra.

I believe that a jQuery library "summarized" only for the functions needed to load the content would be interesting, but I don’t know the existence of something like this, just minified jquery, what I’m already using to try to minimize the impact on performance.

If you want something light, do not use Joomla or other software that does more or less since almost all are very heavy.

  • At the moment, as I put it, it is mandatory that I do in Joomla, higher orders... rsrs I hate these Cmss, but since I am using, I am looking for solutions to the performance, if I find the answer, I will share here.

  • So accept him as he is.

  • I managed to find a Russian plugin, which removes the jquery from the site front, and leaves only on the Adm front that is necessary... it is already something hehe
