VPS configuration

I acquired a VPS at Digital Ocean. The idea is to run an MEAN application. So I opted for the "One click apps" option they offer and the installation/configuration of my server was automatic.

With the environment configured, I uploaded my files to the server. I ran Nodejs and I can access my application externally.

O PROBLEMA: I acquired a record in Registro.br and made the configuration in Droplet. MAS, NÃO ACESSA!

ps: I also set up the DNS in the Register.br.

It is already published and propagated.

If I type "IP:PORT" it works perfectly! What I want is to type "meusite.com.br" and get the same behavior.

Someone has already made this kind of configuration and can help me?

  • Have tried "meusite.com.br:PORTA" ?

  • Yes! Nothing happens. ps: even if it worked, the idea is to omit the URI port.

  • Why was I negative? With the exception of Florida, I didn’t get any answer and I was still negative?

  • @fnx probably because the question is not about programming that is our focus here.
