Atom Text Editor Installation

I discovered a new code editor recently, the Atom, on the platform Github. My question relates to the installation of this publisher and the documentation they give. I have to install Node.js or simply download Atom and install?

P.S.: I don’t have much knowledge of Github.

Both. Node.js is necessary for Atom to be executed correctly.
