Hello,
I need help with the error below:
My HOST is Locaweb, and I’m trying to run my ASP.NET MVC application but it gives error of Security.SecurityException. All the references I found indicate to put the <trust level="Full" /> only that Locaweb does not allow Trustlevel full, medium only.

You know how I can solve this problem?

Follow the Stacktrace:

[SecurityException: Request for the permission of type 'System.Security.Permissions.SecurityPermission, mscorlib, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089' failed.]

  • The biggest problem is the Host. If you switch to some decent one, you will not have this problem. Unfortunately, Ocaweb is only headache.

  • Do you recommend a host with server in Brazil? (Windows with SQL Server)

You need to scan your code and see what is generating the error. I had a recent problem and did the following:

<system.web>
<trust level="Medium" originUrl="" />

As above, I set my project to Medium level and so could simulate the environment. Then I debug my application and fix the part of the code with error.

I found out that I was loading a DLL in Runtime and this was generating the error.

 Assembly.LoadFile(System.IO.Path.Combine(PathAssembly, "MySql.Data.dll"))
