I’m having trouble with an error in android studio. From what I understand, when I run the project, a "certain partition is resized" to a larger size or takes up a larger space. I tried to search how to solve but it came to nothing. Despite the error, it allows me to "run emulation" of the application normally.

The error is as follows:

Cannot Launch AVD in Emulator. Output: Emulator: WARNING: userdata Partition is resized from 550 M to 800 M ERROR: resizing Partition e2fsck failed with Exit code 1 Hax is enabled Hax ram_size 0x60000000 HAX is Working and Emulator runs in fast virt mode. Emulator: Listening for console Connections on port: 5554 Emulator: Serial number of this Emulator (for ADB): Emulator-5554

When you will create an emulator for android studio, you have the option to choose the amount of storage of the emulator, in case to save the information during emulation, as I understood in this error, the software had some problem in resizing the partition size from 550 to 800M, the possible solution is to delete this your emulator already created in the emulator manager, also known as AVD MANAGER, delete this emulator there and create another with in the space max 550M.

  • Man, it worked ! Thanks. In case, I’ll never be able to create one with memory superior to this ? Can you tell me why ?

  • Your computer has how many GB of ram memory?
