Automatic code formatting tool for Notepad++

In my day to day I use the Textfx Plugin to indent my code and it is good the result.

When I pass the code to other programmers, I use the "Chrome Inspector", which has a more complete and organized result. I would like to simplify this by doing it by the editor itself (NP++), automatically as Textfx does.

Is there any solution equivalent to this for Notepad++?

  • I don’t know if this is being maintained: http://jsminnpnpsourceforge.net/ You have online tools for this, it’s not the same as in the editor, but it’s already something: http://jsbeautifier.org/ - Just paste and have it formatted. Note: is not for Notepad++, but this last one has plugin for several other editors if you are interested in the future.

  • @Camilayamamoto I would suggest to wait a little before deleting, because as the comments remain open, you can give some hint yet. And take a look at the 2 links I indicated above, which are code formatters. One of them for NP++, inclusive. The other is not for NP++, but works online, just paste the code there that it formats, and you can copy back neatly.

    I think the question is ok, something related to Notepad++ goes into common tools among programmers.

Following the @Bacco tips,

The identation plugin, which came closest to Chrome’s default, was jsminnpp.sourceforge.net (i.e., Jstools). I’ll use it more !
