I will distribute my Delphi application through a standard installer created with Install Shield, but it needs to create a Windows service to work. I know how to create this service manually, but not how to create it through Install Shield.
Please someone can explain to me how to create a Windows service using Install Shield?

You could use the tool
installutil.exe(https://msdn.microsoft.com/pt-br/library/50614e95(v=vs.110). aspx); it would be installed temporarily along with the rest of the application, and at the end of the installation, the installer could run the command line needed to up the service. Once done, the installutil could be deleted.– Haroldo_OK
