Collecting links in a text file

Question

I have a problem in my program where I have to get links in the entire text file. I used regex to collect the links, however, only a few lines are captured (the file has approximately 3500 lines) and some links. Note: The text file is from Whatsapp texts. This is my code so far:

Using a simple logic.

Every Url starts with http and ends at the first space.

You can use the pattern: .*(http[^ ]+).*

Since you have multiple lines, but the urls are not broken into 2 lines, use the modifier m (Java Pattern.MULTILINE) to define that each line is independent of each other.

With this you can do so much by replace $1 and change the content of the lines, keeping only the url.

Or by match, where the url will be in group 1 of match.
