How to send data from an Ionic Framework generated form to a PHP file and return a JSON?

I’ve been following the documentation of Ionic Framework and selling tutorials on the internet, but there is no detail of communication with the server. I would like to send form data and receive information via JSON. Could you post a simple example of how to send data to the PHP script? For example: name, email and phone. I think this will help everyone who is joining the framework.

You could be using $http from the angular itself to send this data, and in php returns json.
