What tools are most used in Firebird management?

I know Ibexpert, but he gets paid.

There is something similar to Ibexpert, but free?

The site itself offers the links to countless paid and free tools http://firebirdsql.org/en/third-party-tools/

Now what’s best is something very personal, there’s always one better than the other, but there’s also one that you adapt to best.

Some tools:

Ibexpress has free version, it is necessary to register to download http://www.ibexpert.net/downloadcenter/

The following features are missing in this version:

  • Visual Query Builder
  • Data Analysis
  • SP/Triggers/Views Analyzer
  • Database Comparer
  • Table Data Comparer
  • Log Manager
  • Import data
  • Print Metadata
  • Extract Metadata and Extract blob data
  • Generate HTML Documentation
  • Grant Manager
  • To-do list
  • Report Manager
  • Blob Viewer/Editor
  • Database Designer
  • Test Data Generator
  • ODBC Viewer
  • SP/Triggers Debugger
  • Ibescript and Ibeblock
  • Ibexpertbackuprestore
  • Database Monitoring
  • Trace and Audit
  • Database Inside
  • Thanks. Does Ibexpert have a free version? If so, what limitation?

  • @Luizach your question is about tools for Firebird or about Ibexpert after all?

  • EEA why the negative vote? We help and yet people come from inventing nitpicking.

  • @Luhhh updated the answer and put about the Ibexpert, I did not understand why you negatived me, I answered what is written exactly in your question, I just asked if you wanted to know if it was about Ibexpert or about Firebird. There is no reason to think bad, here is not a forum but a site of questions and answers, the question should be objective, as well as the answer.

I don’t know in what language you program, but for Delphi for example, version 7 has the Sqlexplorer that already comes embedded in Delphi, despite being a very simple tool. In the latest versions of Delphi, there is the Firedac explorer, which is the Sqlexplorer of the current versions, but are simple tools.
