I have a web application running on a computer in my local network. This application is accessed by cell phones connected to my network via wi-fi using the IP address of the application server machine. To facilitate access I configured a computer as a DNS server with a domain directing to that computer, so that the staff could access with a name like aplicacao.com.br/app
. Everything works perfectly.
Is there any way to do this DNS service via router? I implemented the DNS server for testing, but if I can avoid this cost it would be great, as well as taking a piece of the puzzle that could possibly cause problems if it stops working for some reason. The less intermediaries the better.
I already searched for it once and did not get result, it seems that the router is not able to do it. I will stay here in expectation too

no-ip does not serve?

From what I understand the no-ip is for external access and I need all access to the internal network. The company wants to use its own domain name as well...
