Dreamspark License - Can I use on more than one machine?

I have a license from SQL Server 2014 Enterprise and one from Visual Studio 2012 Ultimate, both obtained through Dreamspark. As I did not know that in the future I would need them on two machines, I did not read the terms of use when downloading.

Now I wonder if I can use the same licenses both on my laptop and on my Desktop without infringing EULA. I tried to check the documentation on the Dreamspark website, but the terms of use of the same do not have this kind of information.

I would then like to know if anyone could point me to an online documentation from Microsoft (or trusted source at their discretion), regarding the terms of use of your software in the Dreamspark program so that I can inform myself if I can use the same license simultaneously on two personal machines.

  • I denied your question. With all due respect, Arthur, but this - in my opinion - is not a valid question for the OS. We all know the way to answer your question and you yourself could take it.

  • This question seems to be decontextualized because it is about EULA issues of proprietary software.

  • That question is being debated at the goal. Before you vote to close (or reopen, if it has already been closed) take a look there, and express your opinions!

From what I understand of EULA can install on both computers since they are yours and are for academic purposes only.

From what I understood in the continuation of the research, as in an MSDN subscription, software installed on computers can only be used by you.

  • I had a small doubt in the letter c) of item 3. What do they understand as "certain products of Windows operating system"? The operating system itself? Or tools like Office and Visio?

  • The Alinea is about the operating system itself. According to paragraph can only install Dreamspark downloaded Sos if the target computer has a valid license.

  • Although some people are questioning the validity of my question, the fact is that your answer contains a link to an official page, which I had not found, and which contains the answer to my question, so I will accept it. Thank you.
