Error compiling App with Xamarin

I’m having some problems compiling my project on Xamarin no VS2015.

Error java.lang.Unsupportedclassversionerror: com/android/dx/command/Main : Unsupported major.minor version 52.0 Navegacaointent

As I’m starting, my app only has 2 buttons and two screens, IE, there are still other components installed. I simply tried to run the application on my emulator and on my device (personal smartphone) and the error occurs.
