I’m trying to attach a database to a file. mdf generated by visual Studio, at the time I created the Identity database, however I am trying to attach this database to sql server and this giving a version incompatibility error 
How do I attach this bench?
Obs; I have updated my sql server and not solved.

You are probably trying to restore a backup of a higher version on an SQL Server with lower version, for example, your backup is from SQL Server 2014 and you are trying to re-store in SQL Server 2008.
