I’m having trouble connecting an Asp.Net MVC application with Postgresql (Ocaweb).

error:

28000: no pg_hba.conf entry for host "187.52.54.50", user "dadosportal", database "template1", SSL off

Database: data and data.

But always returns this message. pgadmin connects normally.

Follows code webconfig

  • Can you edit the Postgres configuration at Locaweb? I think it’s a case of contacting support.

  • Yes also believe to be problem of configuration, because using the local bank connects normal. I have already made contact but it is not possible to change the settings of Locaweb.

  • Take a look here: http://wiki.locaweb.com.br/pt-br/Como_acessar_remotely_o_PostgreSQL%3F On this page you will find: Attention! New databases already come without IP access restriction, so it is not necessary to request access release.
