I published my first project via FTP, to understand how the structure works inside a server.
I climbed everything inside the www folder and created a . htaccess at the root to reference the public folder of the Laravel, so far everything is correct.
The problem is that some settings came from the local project, for example the view path, forcing me to run php Artisan config:cache, which solved the problem. However, it will not be on all servers that I will have access via ssh, as I can solve this cache problem, only using FTP?
Ideally, your application should stay out of www and rename www to the public folder. Setting up the server in this way shouldn’t be a problem. If it is not possible to configure the server at this point, it might be a good idea to review your hosting.
