What is Prevayler for?

I’m studying Prevayler in college, but I do not know the real use, or why to use, looking on the Internet I found several discussions but nothing that really explain what it is for. Would it be to store in memory data to persist all at once by means of a command? Or spoke nonsense rsrs?

Thank you to the community.

It’s a different data persistence library than conventional.

First, the persistence of data, is a way to save the information, to be able to use it later, be it in databases, or logs, as is the case of Prevayler.

His Cool is that he makes the persistence for records and serializes objects on disk, he is not relational like other persistence libraries, IE, he will not create bases and tables, to store this information.

The idea is interesting, and I would choose to use it in small projects, or in cases where the information is temporary.
