Move git project to Workspace

using eclipse I cloned my github repository in the directory /home/douglas/git. My repository calls X and within it is my project Y.When I will import the project into the eclipse I would like it to be moved to the eclipse Workspace. this is possible?

Clone through the Egit tool inside the eclipse. It will be simpler. In step by step you will be asked if you want to import the project.
