I’m trying to put together a formula, but I know less than the basics about Excel. I made a spreadsheet for sales control, and I put the cakes, sweets, salty, in columns and until then everything right the total was working fine, I used the SOMA function in the column but then I decided to put a column for the party kits and I have kits for 10,20,30,40,50 up to 100 people, and each one has a price, I want a formula that if I put in the column for example the 10 and the total value was added the value of the kit of 10 people and not the 10 itself.

  • Maybe it would be a good idea to show how the table is because at least I can not understand very well how the rows and columns were.

  • Ready I put an example image. I want that when I put in the column of the kit the 20 for example, was added there in total the value of the kit.

  • To make this possible you need to create a match table kit x value for Excel to fetch the value through the PROCV function. In the answer you have the example of how to do this. You need to adapt that information to your spreadsheet.

I believe as an example the table:

Put the formula :

=SE(D3="";"";PROCV(D3;A3:B10;2;FALSO))

on cell E3 and copy it to cell E10

and put the formula:

=SOMA(E3:E10)

in cell E11

Add your kits in the A3 to A10 lines with the values in the B3 to B10 lines and the sales in the D3 lines up to D10 and will have the value in the E11 cell

Leonardo speaks well?

You will have to create a table with the values and use "somase" to simplify the search.

In other words you are searching in a list of values only the value compatible with your "key".

I separated in two "tabs", to avoid that the values are lost or altered erroneously in day to day.

Follow the spreadsheet link in google drive, if it is this, can download and adapt to the needs ;)
