I need some help. I downloaded a project in c# stock control, but the database is by Microsoft SQL Server, and would like to use Mysql for connection and data logging.

If I were you, I’d change your class a little bit DALConexao:

So it can work with both SQL Server and Mysql. For example:

Everywhere you have this mistake:

Using the Generic type 'DAL.Dalconexao' requires 1 type Arguments.

Change:

DALConexao cx = new DALConexao(DadosDaConexao.StringDeConexao);

For:

var cx = new DALConexao<SqlConnection>(DadosDaConexao.StringDeConexao);

Or else:

var cx = new SqlServerDal(DadosDaConexao.StringDeConexao);

Which is the same thing.
