I set up the ssl certificates on Amazon’s Ec2 server for the company websites where I work and the desktop was perfect. But when access by mobile https turns red and the browser informs that the certificate is invalid. This problem does not occur on desktop. Someone has been through something like this and can tell me why it happened?

In Chrome for example appears:

YOUR CONNECTION IS NOT PRIVATE NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID

  • Are paid or signed certificates?

  • Paid and not past the renewal deadline. I did not understand why on the desktop not only problem on mobile. rapidssl.

After several searches, I found that the certificate purchased and signed by the certification body Rapdssl is not compatible with mobile devices. Rapdssl itself informs and sells only Geotrust with license to use the same digital certificate for unlimited servers at no additional cost and compatible with mobile devices. That is, I have to change the current certificate to be signed by Geotrust. Only then will you have valid recognition on mobile devices.
