Error trying to install Visual Studio 2013: Acess Denied KB2829760

I’m trying to install Visual Studio from ISO vs2013.5_ce_enu I went down so I could continue my studies in C#.

However, when I try to install, an error appears:

KB2829760
Access Denied

The operating system I am using is Windows 10.

Someone’s been through this trouble?

NOTE: I did not ask on Superuser, because I am not an expert in English, but I decided to ask, because I saw that there are similar questions here on the site and that were well received (it was not closed or did not receive a rain of negatives).

    There’s probably something wrong with installing Windows or something unrelated to VS. Lack of space, for example.

  • Don’t even joke about "missing space". 162 GB free on my laptop

  • I just keep thinking why install 2013. In your case that will not do anything in production I would try to install 2016. Ah, these Windows pirates that are out there modified are all molasses :D

It seems that your error is due to problems with incorrect permissions in the Access Control List (ACL) in some parts of Registry.

kb2829760 is called Visual Studio 2013 Updates. Since the error information points to security issues, check the following:

  1. Make sure you are running Visual Studio installation as an administrator;

  2. Use the tool subacl and a script to give appropriate permissions to all files and entries in Registry, according to this reference:
