Question

I suffer from this friendly URL business, as I could do for a simple code or any code on. htaccess to make the url friendly in an automated way without me having to write all this:

I don’t know if it’s going to be much help, or if I understand, but I’ll tell you how I use it.. my . htaccess is like this

Options -Indexes 

Ai in php I just do so

     $url           =$_GET['url'];
     $quebraUrl     =explode('/',$url); 
     $categoria     =$quebraUrl[0];
     $subcategoria  =$quebraUrl[1];
     $postagem      =$quebraUrl[2];

That’s how I do it :

     include("includes/$categoria.php");

Use a library to route urls. Basically you define a url (without regard to the domain name: www.domain.com.br), and say what should be executed when a request is made with the declared signature:

/logout/ calls function or logout class

You’d still have to use a file. htacess, but would only need to redirect all requests to a specific file, index.php for example. phproute and fastroute are some of these libraries.
