First time I need to make a slide of this type, it came into mind to use a normal slide with a div superimposing the bottom of the slide, giving the rounded effect. There is another way to do this?

There are a thousand ways, but the most suitable one depends on many other factors. If the size will be fixed, if it will suit different devices, which target audience (to know how much more resources can be available) etc. - It would be better if you clicked on [Edit] and gave the maximum details of the project, otherwise it is half open the question. By the way, if you don’t want to make it too complicated, simply superimpose an image with CSS on the normal slide. Just need to see how will work the "little ears" indicating which slide is the current.

Why not simply add an image to the slider box, it refers to the right bottom?
