I open Blender 2.7 and I have a cube. I select the cube and, using the logic buttons, I give actions to this cube according to the keys I press on the keyboard. But now how do I run the game engine here in version 2.7 and see the game in action? In older versions, I just press the 'p' key, but here in version 2.7 I press 'p' and just nothing happens.

The shortcut continues in the P key.

Make sure you are selected in "Blender Game". See screenshot:

It’s version 2.69, but it’s the same look

Also, the cursor (mouse) must be in the "Blender 3D View Editor".

  • That was it! I was missing the option "Blender Game". I don’t remember needing it in other versions. Thanks!
