I am migrating my blog from Blogger to Wordpress. As I do with images, because I will export them and then modify one by one. Should I redirect 301? Is that possible? How to proceed in this situation?

Look, the Urls I have to redirect 301. Should the images proceed the same way, not to be punished by google? *Although I think blogger is not possible this redirection, with images.

  • What difficulty are you having?

  • My problem is in importing the images... because they are in coming with smaller size. My question would be whether I will lose image visitors because I will change them to my url?... ATT

You can migrate in many ways:

1) Migrating the content manually, recreating the publications and saving the images one by one. In this method you would avoid bugs and formation failures, given that both are different. It is the most laborious, but it is also the most guaranteed.

2) Linking images via URL. That is, you recreate only the content and the images you link to it through the Wordpress platform.

3) Exporting all publications through Blogger’s own system. The images would go together too, but there may be some bugs mainly in the alignment issue. If you want to follow this method:

I found, an interesting plugin, sends the images and everything else... But the problem is that the images are in smaller size... That is, it matters the size of and not of ... Then I will try to make a replacement for /s1600/ in the images. Another thing I’m developing is an application to remove these blogger tags, which shit with posts... ATT

  • I already had this same problem when I had to migrate a client to Wordpress. I decided to do this migration myself, to avoid headaches...

  • I did the image migration believe it was with this plugin: SEO Blogger to Wordpress using 301 Redirection ... It worked, some more do not seem... I believe that little by little I do manually... leaving standardized the site... ATT
