I would like to know what is the process of developing a 360º tour.
I believe such a "system" is not made all in the "big hand", in a primitive way, line by line.
What tools are used? Is there software that generates everything? How is it done?

360º video market is still incipient, and there are not many industry standards.
That being said, emerging platforms are similar in some ways. For example, video capture takes place with devices that cover as much of the sphere of focus as possible around the scene:
The arrangement of the cameras is purposeful. Notice how the individual focuses fit:
Next, software like the Autopane compose a video that is the result of the synchronized merge of the various cameras.
The same can be done with static images, using tools such as Microsoft Image Composite Editor or Hugin; its results can be viewed via tools such as krpano Panorama Viewer.
About the technology applied in the camera I have already read some materials about it. The question really is about the mixing-synchronization of the images. A doubt, the Autopane is only for videos? A 360º tour image-only is done the same way? If not, what software is able to do this and also generate the Viewer tour?
