How does the RSA encryption algorithm work?

I wanted to understand how the algorithm works RSA, step by step, for a better understanding and so that I can use it properly.

    I am voting to reopen, because the RSA is simple enough to be explained in a reply (even if the complete algebra is not). Similar questions were asked and remained open (example, example, example, example), and in my experience these algorithms described in the other questions are even more complex than RSA.
