My Samsung Galaxie S5 smartphone restarts when I’m in the middle of a call

It’s been over a month since my Galaxie S5 smartphone automatically shuts down when I’m in the middle of a connection and reboots. This happens about three times a day and I imagine it’s a wrong configuration. I’ve looked but found nothing wrong. However, my knowledge of computer science is not so great either. I’m avoiding taking it to technical assistance because I depend on it for my work. Is there any possibility that this may be a configuration problem ? Or a defect? Or is it more likely to be a virus ? I appreciate any cooperation.

There’s no configuration (right or wrong) that can make your smartphone reboot on its own, especially without asking you first.

Below are some of the likely reasons:

  1. Virus: If your smartphone is infected this could be a cause. In this case download anti-virus applications like Avast for example and make a full rod.
  2. System Errors: For some reason your android is corrupted and running given command generates a fatal error that causes reboot. In this case the solution would be to restore the plant, preferably using Kies.
  3. Hardware problem: Crashes or overheating in electronic components can also cause spontaneous reboot of the device. In computers for example, if the processor overheats the system immediately restarts, and depending on the level of heating, the processor gets permanently damaged and starts rebooting whenever it reaches a certain temperature, even if the cooling problem has been resolved. In this case the solution is to take to the authorized technical assistance to make a diagnosis of your device.
  • Thank you very much, Daniel. I will follow the steps you proposed.
