I’m having some problems and I believe that if I could update the mono library I would have access to new functionality, someone could do it?

New functionality is obtained by updating libraries,
by default are automatic and you are notified. If you want to manually check: Tools->Options
Also update packages on: Tools->Nuget Package Manager
